Yesterday we introduced our first merch design and to our surprise and joy it immediately sold out. We had not expected such an interest and since we do not want to leave any of our fans feeling left out we decided to open our Redbubble store right away. You can find it here.
At the moment we have two different designs available, the now classic 28 logo and the new Weirdling Raider design by Martin Trese. We believe these two designs best represents the style of 28. A clean, minimalist logo and a baroque, punk portrait of a lost soul, stranded in a strange place. We will be rolling out further designs over the next months, depending of course on how popular our current choices are.
Why do we then use Redbubble? Well it all comes down to logistics and costs, we want to ensure that you can order what you want as easily as possible and still be affordable. If we were to set up our own production the costs would, unfortunately, sky rocket and we would have to focus time on it, that would be time away from the magazine. That’s why we decided to use a middle hand and it seems like Redbubble was the best fit for us. Redbubble offers a wide variety of products, if there is something you would like to buy but we do not currently have then just send us a message and we will look into it.
